My expertise
Having worked at the centre of Australia's workplace relations for over two decades I am now available to assist with workplace relations practice or compliance assignments.
I was a Commissioner in the Fair Work Commission for 12 years until May 2025. Before that I was the first Fair Work Ombudsman spending 7 years as the head of Australia’s workplace compliance agencies.
I am highly skilled at dispute resolution, enterprise bargaining facilitation, workplace compliance and the provision of regulatory advice and strategy.
I can facilitate negotiation of enterprise agreements and work to constructively resolve individual and collective disputes. My mediation experience extends to bullying and harassment claims and separation agreements. I can help with underpayment prevention and resolution.
As CEO of the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman and its predecessors I have unique experience building, leading and being accountable for complex public sector organisations.
